One of our main services
in Griffin Airfreight is Project Cargo handling. GN Jacket
Project, an oil and gas offshore structure owned by Exxon
Mobil is being constructed in MSE. It is the 2nd largest
jacket ever built in MSE.
The project is in its final phase, approximately a month before
delivery to Nigeria. Wire slings are used to secure the structure
and function as attachments for the offshore crane to manoeuvre
the structure during installation. 4 wire slings, each weighing 54 tonnes were delivered from Singapore to MSE.
These operations involved bonded trucking, loading and unloading
operations from vessel using 200 tonnes floating crane.
